I've been in the retail bicycle business for 25 years, worked through 4 Point of sale systems, and I love Keystroke! We utilize everything from serial number tracking, auto-purchase orders, inventory variance, customer tracking, and tons of reports. We've even customized some screens and reports to better suit our business. I export Keystroke data into QuickBooks daily for GL work, as well as Excel for more detailed turnover and GMROI analysis. Keystroke's credit card module tied to our DSL processes all different cards quickly. We (unfortunately!) had need of the Keystroke audit function to discover a security breach, which led to us extensively using the included multi-level, multi-clerk password system. Our vendors love calling on our store because our inventory, pricing, and Purchase Orders are complete and accurate. Bar-coded price tags reduce errors, although we're still not taking 100% advantage of these capabilities. We run Keystroke on 5 PC's, from an old 386 up to a new Pentium 3, with 8 different printers all accessed from each terminal.
